Video Tutorial – continuous motifs

I made my first ever longarm video tutorial last year. I’m just now getting around to posting it here however.  This was made to show someone how I made continuous flowers/feathers in a block formation.  This is good for use in an e2e setting or as an easy custom e2e pattern like shown in this quilt.  I have received several requests for more videos (and better quality ones), so I bit the bullet and ordered a camcorder that will work better than my smart phone propped up on my quilt. So stay tuned for more videos to come.

  1. Yay!! I remember watching that video & wondering if I could ever do it!
I am thrilled to hear there will be more coming!! You do fabulous work, Joy & I love how you are so willing to help people learn.

  2. Thanks so much for taking the time to do this and hope you do more. Although I quilt some pieced projects, I primarily make Baltimore type quilts, so something showing how you quilt an applique top would be of great interest to me.
