Coastal Lily featured on AQS MyQuiltPlace

I recently completed this lovely quilt who had pieced it as a wedding present for her nephew.  Lucky kid!  I wanted to keep in her budget, but at the same time play up the expert piecing of the quilter. The combination of McTavishing and circles in the background really set this one off.  I really wish I could have kept this one. Particulars are: Quilters Dream puff, Superior’s SoFine and Bottom Line threads.  It was featured on MyQuiltPlace.com and AQS featured it on their Facebook page (shown below).
