Glenda here: i like just the plain crosshatch. The fill in looks too busy. I love the gold thread.
I agree.. In fact I’ve already ripped it out. I’ll continue with the plain crosshatching. I don’t think I’ll use the gold thread on the swirl print mini border (I tried it and ripped it out too). I’m going to think some more on that. I think I may follow the swirl pattern on it and use a shiny red thread. Still trying to figure it out. I’ll be coming up on the middle green borders soon. I’ll post pics of ideas for it when I get there.
